    Under the motto “better places, better impact, stronger business”, the world’s largest real estate trade fair MIPIM opened its doors again in Cannes, France, from March 14-17, 2023. For the 14th time, NAX was again present with the GERMAN PAVILION, where this year 25 exhibitors were able to present their expertise under the motto: “Excellence in Architecture”.

    NOW, NEAR, NEXT, TRANSFORMING GERMAN ARCHITECTURE

    NOW, NEAR, NEXT, the digital exhibition of projects by NAX partners and sponsors 2022-27, focuses on the transformation of architecture and construction. What are the competences that position German engineering and architecture offices internationally? The consistent German values such as perfectionism, quality in construction and project management, reliable engineering services and on-time delivery are enhanced by the experimental, the courageous, the different, the creative, the unfinished and perhaps also the typically “un-German”.

    Located in the Haidian District of the city, Dayuan Haidian Mansion has ten luxury residential buildings with 348 apartments which are 170 m2 to 340 m2 in size. Designed by Beijing Victory Star Architectural & Civil Engineering Design CO., LTD., it features a classical Chinese garden landscape and a healthy living environment as the highlights of this residence sub-district.

    On the rocky Antarctic plateau adjacent to the Larsemann Hills, at temperatures down to minus 40 °C, India has been operating a science research station since 2012. It is named “Bharati”, after the Hindu Goddess of Wisdom and Knowledge. For wisdom and knowledge to flourish even on the most isolated and hostile continent, it is vital that the team of scientists is realiably supplied with heat and water.

    Statue of Liberty

    is a world-famous symbol of freedom and the pursuit of happiness. At almost 100 metres high, including her plinth, “Lady Liberty” is a truly imposing structure. And she is of course one of New York’s most popular attractions. Several million “admirers” a year make the pilgrimage on the ferry to Liberty Island, in the Upper Bay between Jersey City and Manhattan.

    Hotel Mexico, located on the seafront in Cesenatico, Italy, reopened its doors in time for the 2012 summer bathing season. Extended by several rooms, a pool, sun deck and wellness area, the facility is now equipped with superior quality services and common spaces, and offers a greater number of comfortable rooms with a contemporary look.

    The new Salvador Dalí Museum of St. Petersburg, Forida, USA, encompasses art, books and personal papers created by Dalí himself. The architecturally exceptional museum is 66,450 square feet and cost around $36 million to build. Over 15,000 square feet of the Dalí is dedicated to gallery space – allowing the continuous exhibition of the museum’s collection of 96 Dalí paintings.
